Ryan Destiny to Star in Upcoming Season of ‘Grown-Ish’
Yes, you heard right. We will be seeing Ryan Destiny in season three of Grown-ish, which is set to air on January 16th of 2020. The “Star” singer/actress confirmed this by taking to Instagram, posting a series of photos from behind the scenes on the set.
Though not much is being said about what her storyline will be or when exactly she will appear, she leaves us a subtle crumb in the last picture, which shows the back of a director’s chair with her name in italics and under it, the name Jillian in bold. Now, we can only infer that her character was given a name because we will see her on more than one episode, but we look forward to seeing her alongside the cast regardless.
Following the post, Destiny received an abundance of positive comments from supporters and her fellow co-stars such as Yara Shahidi, Emily Arlook and Jordan Buhat. I think it’s safe to say that this will be the closest to a Star/Grown-ish crossover we will see, so embrace it while you can.
