Niall Horan appeared on Saturday Night Live this past weekend as a musical guest for Scarlet Johansson’s seventh time hosting.  To promote Horan’s untitled second studio album, he performed his recent single “Put a Little Love on Me” and his popular single he released in October, “Nice to Meet Ya.”

During his SNL production, he began with “Nice to Meet Ya” with an electrifying and energetic performance with flashing lights, a bright pink suit, and a phenomenal band. Horan’s alluring vocals sparked up the stage throughout the melody of the pop-rock song.

In Horan’s second act, he debuted “Put a Little Love on Me” through an emotional and beautiful rendition of the ballad. Horan premiered the single earlier this month and revealed the single meant a lot to him as a result of his revealing vulnerability through the lyrics of the song.

Many fans of Horan’s were amazed at his stage presence during the performances and his ability to perform better than the studio version of “Put a Little Love on Me.”
