Find out What Prince Harry Says About Royal Exit
Prince Harry gave his first speech regarding his and Meghan Markle’s decision to step down from senior royal duties.
Recently, the Queen announced the details behind Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to leave and how they will be stepping down from their roles. The couple has been fairly quiet until now. Prince Harry addressed the situation during an event for his charity, Sentebale, which helps children impacted by extreme poverty and the HIV/AIDS epidemic in parts of Africa.
Harry wanted to be as open as possible and have everyone hear the truth directly from him. During his speech, Harry stated, “The UK is my home and a place that I love. That will never change.” He even goes on to say how it feels even more like home now that Meghan is by his side and how everyone welcomed her with open arms.
He spoke about how he and Meghan had been talking about this decision for many months now, and it was not a spur of the moment decision. He wanted to continue to serve without the public funding, which unfortunately was not possible.
At the end of this speech, Harry expressed his appreciation for his grandmother and his family, especially since they have all been supportive of the couple’s decision.

After Harry’s speech, it seems even more people are being supportive of the decision he and Meghan have made. They can see how dedicated he is to his family and that this clearly was one of the most difficult decisions he had to make.
Meghan and Harry just taught a whole generation of little girls and boys that:
-Being a prince or princess is overrated.
-Money and fame don’t bring happiness.
-You should walk away from toxic situations.
-You should stand up for yourself.
