So far, she has only released five of the eleven songs, including singles “Garden Song” and “Kyoto,” but we can hopefully expect a few more over time.
The singer initially had hopes of recording the music video for the most recent song, “Kyoto,” in Japan, but due to the current pandemic, she instead had to come up with a new game plan. So, to make up for the lack of setting, Bridgers used a green screen to pair with the mellow vibes of her lyrics.
Aside from the video, the song itself is very upbeat; something that can prove to be quite necessary in times like this. In an interview, Bridgers recenetly stated that she wrote “Kyoto” about being in Japan for the first time, a place she had always wanted to visit.
