Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are doing what they can to help with the current crisis.

The famous couple was one of the first notable celebs who fought their battles against coronavirus back in March. They spent their suggested quarantine time in Australia and now will donate blood and plasma in hopes of helping to find a vaccine.

Here’s last week’s bag of plasma. Such a bag! After the paperwork, it’s as easy as taking a nap. Thanks @arimoin and UCLA. Hanx

Thankfully, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have fully recovered and are in good health. They have been eager to help out with the situation and fortunately, donating their blood for research could do so.

Hanks recently went on the NPR Podcast, Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!, and joked that their donation would be called the “Hank-ccine.”

Hopefully, their blood will benefit COVID-19 research in the long run. For now, remember to practice social distancing and wash your hands frequently to prevent the spread of the virus.
