Find out How Emma Stone And Zoey Deutch are Supporting Mental Health Awareness Month
May is Mental Health Awareness Month and stars such as Emma Stone and Zoey Deutch are doing their part in raising awareness for those suffering from mental health disorders.
The Child Mind Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families that struggle with mental health disorders. Their #WeThriveInside campaign was created to help children and teens who are struggling to cope with the loneliness and fear. As people all over the world are told to stay inside due to the coronavirus pandemic, isolation has become a huge complication for those who struggle with their mental health.
Emma Stone is a board member for the Child Mind Institute and has teamed up with them for this campaign. Stone, who struggles with anxiety, says she uses this time in isolation to try out new authors, meditating, and even dancing all around her house.
Similar to Stone, Zoey Deutch has also joined the #WeThriveInside campaign, sharing how she creates puzzles, reading, and watching shows with multiple seasons to keep her busy. She also reminds people that you must be easy on yourself during this time.
