today im launching a charity sale on @depop of items from my personal wardrobe, rare merchandise and some clothes I’ve worn in music videos 🌞 100% of proceeds will be going to charities that are currently helping black and brown women in the covid-19 crisis. as you may know, black and brown communities have been dying and negatively affected at disproportionately higher rates during this pandemic. the charities that the money will be split between are the #freeblackmamas effort for @nationalbailout , which is helping incarcerated black women reunite with their families during this crisis, and help with groceries and sustainable housing to ensure they can shelter in place & stay safe with loved ones during #covid19. The second is @sakhinyc for their “isolated but not Alone” project, which is an organization that is helping the south asian community with the higher rates of domestic violence occurring because of quarantine. both these issues are really close to my heart ❤️ link to my @depop sale is in bio ! on a sweet note, look how @brrch_floral planted flowers in my garden 😛🌸🌼🌺

Within ten minutes,  almost all the items from her account were sold, although Raveena reassured her fans that she would find more items to sell.

The proceeds will go to two charities, the first being the #freeblackmamas project spearheaded by The National Bail Out Collective that helps incarcerated black women reunite with their families during the COVID 19 crisis while providing PPE, homecare, and groceries. The second is and the “Isolated But Not Alone” project, run by the organization Sakhi for South Asian Women, which provides support to the South Asian community dealing with domestic violence during the quarantine.
