Here’s Everything You Need To Know About Harry Styles’ Postponed Tour

Columbia Records

Harry Styles’ Love On Tour was set to kick off on June 26, 2020, but due to “obvious reasons,” as the artist has stated in his Twitter post, it had to be rescheduled for 2021.

Styles has said that the previously scheduled tickets will be honored, meaning they will still be recognized as valid when 2021 rolls around. If the new date will not work for somebody, the person will be able to receive a refund.

Anyone who knows me, knows that performing has always been my favorite part of working in music. However, during times like these, the safety and protection of touring crew, fans, and everyone else around the world is an immediate priority. For obvious reasons, the upcoming tour in the UK and Europe will be rescheduled to 2021. Tickets already purchased will be valid for these shows. In the meantime, we will be closely monitoring the situation around the world and will continue updating you in the months to come. For the safety of yourself and others, please self-isolate. We’re all in this together. I can’t wait to see you out on the road as soon as it’s safe to do so. Until then, treat people with kindness. H

While Styles has announced that the performances scheduled to take place in the U.K. and Europe will instead happen in 2021, many fans are concerned whether the tour will still take place in Australia and New Zealand.

Love On Tour was meant to take place in Australia and New Zealand in November and December of 2020 and Styles still has to make an announcement whether it will occur or be postponed. However, the reason for the tour getting postponed is not in Styles’ hands, but instead depends on the worldwide COVID-19 situation.

Many are also unsure if Harry Styles will still perform in Brazil, Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Argentina. Styles still has to make an announcement whether Love On Tour in South America will take place in October 2020, like it was originally planned. Styles was originally planning to start off his tour in April of 2020 in the U.K., then go to Australia, New Zealand, Europe, South America, North America, and finish in Mexico. Most likely, the original dates for all shows, not only in the U.K. and Europe, will be postponed due to the pandemic.

While this news is likley very saddening to Styles’ audience, we must remember to stay positive and understanding of one another during these uncertain times. For the time being, you can listen to Styles’ album, Fine Line to ease any tour-cancellation induced blues.
