Former Real Housewives of New York star Jill Zarin has been working tirelessly these past few months to raise funds for her new charity, Noshes for Nurses (NFN), which provides meals to front line workers.

Zarin, a designer and entrepreneur by trade, is well known for her philanthropic efforts. Zarin first developed the idea for NFN with her daughter Ally Shapiro (left) after discovering that Bill and Hillary Clinton had sent pizzas to local hospitals. Zarin herself had spent a great deal of time confined to hospitals in 2018, during which time her late husband was chronically ill. Having personally appreciated the devoted care of medical professionals, Zarin and Shapiro felt that helping them would be a phenomenal way to give back.

NFN, which was launched on March 28th via GoFundMe, has already raised over $50,000 and fed over 25,000 workers to date. Even fellow RHONY star LuAnn de Lesseps has pitched in, reportedly donating $1,000 to the charity. And Zarin and de Lesseps are not the only RHONY castmates providing disaster relief; “Skinnygirl” Bethenny Frankel’s charity, BStrong, has teamed up with GEM to raise a whopping $18,480,000.

Zarin and Shapiro’s COVID relief efforts don’t stop with NFN. The pair has also launched a line of fashionable custom face masks through JillZarin.com. For every mask purchased, another is donated to a front line worker.
