The new album follows their third album A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships (2018) and the second of their two EPs Music for Cars. The album also marks significant changes in the sounds the band has used for their previous albums and fans are loving the new changes.

One other unique thing about the album is the first song “The 1975.” The track features a spoken word performance by 17-year-old Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg.

The band has been promoting the release of NOACF since Aug 2019 after they released the single “People” and their newest single “If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know).” The band is also teasing a new video for “Tonight (I Wish I Was Your Boy).”

Notes on a Conditional Form is out on all streaming platforms so make sure to check it out.
