ABC Adds to Our Quarantine Watchlist as They Renew ‘Black-Ish’ for Season 7
ABC has just renewed Black-ish for the 2020-21 broadcast season. Black-ish is entering its seventh season and has given us nothing but memorable moments filled with laughter. The show debuted in 2014 and has had fans begging for more ever since.
If you’re unfamiliar with Black-ish the cast alone is enough to hook you in. The show stars Anthony Anderson as Dre, Tracee Ellis Ross as Rainbow, Yara Shahidi as Zoey, Marsai Martin as Diane, and many more accredited actors. The roster speaks for itself. Black-ish did so well that Freeform picked up the spinoff Grown-ish with Yara Shahidi as the star, which was also renewed for its fourth season earlier this year.

Black-ish is a comedy, however, it doesn’t take away from the depth that the show has. They tackle serious topics like mental health, racism, LGBT+ issues, and police brutality that have fans coming back for more.
Seasons 1-6 are available to stream on Hulu.
