A Dress Rihanna Wore Last Summer is Supporting Charity Organizations
See how the fashion industry is working to improve lives beyond improving style.
Chinese-Vietnamese designer A Sai Ta has thought of a cutting-edge way to raise funds. The designer has brought back into production one of Rihanna’s most famous garments: the hot pink asymmetric mini dress the star wore “in one seminal slow-mo video last summer,” as detailed by Dazed.
Per an Instagram announcement, the dress will be sold by ASAI for the price of 300 euros (about $333 U.S. dollars). All profits of sales from the tie-dye sensation will benefit Black Lives Matter, Solace Women’s Aid, and The Voice of Domestic Workers. Currently, the Black Lives Matter movement is at the forefront of the nationwide protests, bringing in support of all kinds.
Originally, the dress was created exclusively for the Fenty Beauty creator, however, it is now available for anyone to purchase. If you are interested in nabbing the iconic dress, it is available globally via ASAI’s email: info@asaita.co.uk. You can also DM the official ASAI Instagram account.
