Lili Reinhart Marches for Black LGBTQ+ Lives After Proudly Revealing Bisexuality

Instagram

Lili proved once again that she is an advocate for diversity and equality as she joined the fleet of celebrities marching in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Hours after the actress proudly revealed her bisexuality on Instagram, she announced that she would be protesting for black members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Posting a flyer for an LGBTQ+ march, she wrote “Although I’ve never announced it publicly before, I am a proud bisexual woman” and urged viewers to join her in the march for equality. Reinhart certainly made her presence felt in West Hollywood as she carried a placard reading ‘All four charged,’ referring to the four Minneapolis police officers recently charged with George Floyd’s murder.

Lili has strongly vocalized her anti-racist stance in the past and has been a beacon of support for the Black Lives Matter movement following Floyd’s tragic death last week. Yesterday, she took to Twitter in support of her Riverdale co-star Vanessa Morgan, who called out the misrepresentation of black characters in TV shows. Lili is currently asking for the names of outspoken black influencers to help spread awareness of their messages, so make sure you help by clicking the tweet below!

June is also Pride Month, and Lili’s posts are a searing reminder that the black LGBTQ+ community is especially marginalized. All black voices deserve to be heard, regardless of age, gender, or sexuality. Like Lili, we can stand in solidarity with Black Lives Matter. Follow in her footsteps by showing up and speaking out to end racism for good!
