we’ll be postponing our album to June 12th in solidarity of all the beautiful black lives lost ✊🏾🖤
During a Time 100 discussion Chloe Bailey stated, ” These past two weeks have been very overwhelming; we’ve been hurting, we’ve been in pain. But we’re also very hopeful, because our peers are raising our voices and we’re letting ourselves be heard and not backing down and taking no for an answer. The injustices have been going on for a very, very long time but I’m happy now the entire world is paying attention.”
The sister duo has been mentored by the one and only Beyoncé, who signed them to her management company, Parkwood Entertainment. Beyoncé listened to their album and simply loved it.
“The way our music has evolved is exactly how we’re evolving as young women.” 💕 June cover stars @chloexhalle have always had something to say — and it just so happens to be an important time to speak up: https://t.co/eeKO8byAVx pic.twitter.com/GbwrfapWhL
