Celebrities Use Social Media to Celebrate National Obama Appreciation Day

Celebrities including Mariah Carey, Ciara, Tamar Braxton and more celebrated national Obama Appreciation Day on Sunday, June 14 to express their love for former President Barack Obama.

National Obama day took place on June 14, and even got the attention of stan Twitter, which caused it to trend. From fans to celebrities, all were celebrating the day in hopes of bringing more attention to the Black Lives Matter movement, as well.

Carey posted a throwback photo of Michelle and Barack Obama, which caught the attention of many of her fans.

Shortly after, Braxton posted a photo of Obama with a hilarious caption, to possibly provide a light distraction from the heaviness of the current situation.

Once celebrities started posting about the appreciation day, fans shortly after followed in their footsteps and began to post about it as well.
