A Third Installment of ‘Mamma Mia!’ Could Be in Our Future
The producer of Mamma Mia!, Judy Craymer, hints at a third installment and Amanda Seyfried along with the whole cast is ready for it.
Before the coronavirus, Craymer was brainstorming new ideas and songs for the third movie. It has been postponed, however, a third movie is still possible.
Seyfried, who plays Sophie in the movies, is not sure if there are enough ABBA songs to complete the third movie. Craymer then hints that Mamma Mia! 3 could include new ABBA music.
Craymer told Variety in an interview that she thinks one day “there will be another film because there’s meant to be a trilogy.” Seyfried and the cast would love to create another film because they would all love to hang out with each other again.
We are not sure what the third installment will be like, but if Craymer follows through and creates another masterpiece, we do know we will be rushing to theaters. Read some of the Mamma Mia! fans show their love and excitement for a third movie below.
