If you’re searching for a new must-watch, we’ve got you sorted as YouTube has announced a new four-part docuseries on Demi Lovato.

The details are pretty vague at the moment, but the new series (which is currently unnamed) will follow Demi Lovato’s life over the past three years. The singer has seen some ups and downs over the years, and the series will be delving into it all – covering her near-fatal overdose in 2018 and her journey back to full health and sobriety. On the flip side, we’ll also get to relive the glory of her comeback, like her landmark performance of the National Anthem at this year’s Super Bowl.

Lovato has been open about her struggles with alcohol and mental health in the past, recently saying it’s a “sign of strength” to seek help with your mental health. She also stressed the importance of support networks: “Because sometimes you feel really alone and you don’t know where to turn or who to talk to. You’re afraid that these thoughts you’re having are too dark, and you need guidance.”

The 2017 series Simply Complicated recounted the singer’s rise to fame as well as the complications and pressures that came with the spotlight and has since amassed 32 million views. This new series will be directed by Michael D. Ratner, who helmed episodes of YouTube’s recent Justin Bieber: Seasons documentary.

Lovato’s new series is one of several YouTube series ordered for renewal, so keep your eyes peeled for what’s sure to be a moving insight into Lovato’s life.
