Watch G Hannelius React to Her Old Disney Shows for an Instant Mood Boost

If you’ve fallen into a pit of childhood nostalgia lately, you’re not alone. G Hannelius, like the rest of us, is looking back on her youth, which just so happens to include starring on Dog With A Blog and acting alongside Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, and many other Disney Channel legends.

Earlier this year, actress and entrepreneur G Hannelius started an all-encompassing YouTube channel to kill off some of her quarantine-caused boredom.

With YouTube giving us a new style of content from G (whose real name is Genevieve), we are getting to know her on a new level, which includes memories of her time on Disney Channel.

Last week, the now 21-year-old dropped a video titled “Reacting To My Old Disney Shows!” and it has already racked up almost 1.5 million views.

“This is basically a little melting pot of young me gracing your childhood screens,” Genevieve said to begin her video before jumping right into a clip of her on Sonny with a Chance.

She immediately comments on her younger self’s lack of front teeth and talks about instances where she had to wear false teeth (called a flipper) for some other roles.

As expected, she talked about just how fun and sweet Demi Lovato was to work with, as was every cast she was honored to be part of for a period of time.

G also talked about how much she loved playing characters who were mean, but still had depth, because it gave them interesting story arcs even when they were just recurring characters – such as Jo on Good Luck Charlie, which she laughed through a few clips of.

As we get to see a more personal side of her nowadays on social media, it’s funny to see her play such evil and bratty characters, since she comes off as such a positive and down to earth person in real life.

G is still acting, too, but prioritizes being a full-time college student and enjoying normal 20-something life in New York City.

She is also the founder of G Polish, a vegan, and cruelty-free nail polish company based right near her family’s home in Los Angeles.
