‘The Kissing Booth 2’ Trailer Is Here and Was Definitely Worth the Wait
As if fans weren’t already excited about The Kissing Booth 2 being released this month, the full trailer is finally out and features a lot more drama than expected.
Netflix’s The Kissing Booth was the rom-com smash of the summer in 2018, but judging by the trailer for the sequel that dropped this morning, it’s ready to rule summer 2020, as well.
Joey King, Joel Courtney, and Jacob Elordi are reprising their lead roles of Elle, Lee, and Noah, respectively, for the second installment of TKB series.
Although, that doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing some new faces pop up on our screens this time around.
The trailer alone brought us some glimpses of two fresh-faced characters: Good-looking high-schooler Marco, played by Taylor Zakhar Perez, and seemingly-perfect college girl Chloe, played by Maisie Richardson-Sellers.
We already know that the first film ended on a cliffhanger, with Elle’s dreamy boyfriend Noah going off to college, but everyone seemed to wonder what happened to those lovebirds after the movie ended.
Well, the trailer has teased fans with a little bit of an answer.
Elle is now a senior in high school and her bond with her BFF, Lee, looks to be stronger (and funnier) than ever.
Unfortunately, Noah isn’t just at a college down the road, he’s at Harvard University – thousands of miles away from his girlfriend Elle.
The trailer hints at some long-distance relationship drama, with the addition of new characters, new students, and a lot more ‘rules’ to follow.
