Based on the comic book series by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, The Umbrella Academy tells the story of a superhero team formed by seven remarkable individuals adopted by a billionaire. Last season, the siblings Vanya (Ellen Page), Luther (Tom Hopper), Diego (David Castañeda), Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman), Klaus (Robert Sheehan), Number Five (Aidan Gallagher), and Ben (Justin H. Min) time-traveled back to the past to stop the end of the world.

However, as the trailer shows, it seems that The End traveled back with them. Now, with only a couple of days left to prevent the apocalypse, the team must come together once again to save the world.

The clip features plenty of sibling shenanigans and fight sequences, but it’s also exciting for another reason. It features a brand new song from Gerard Way, the story’s creator and rock band My Chemical Romance’s vocalist. The track, titled “Here Comes The End,” was inspired both by the show’s upcoming season and the current state of the world.

“I was originally inspired to write this track when series one of The Umbrella Academy was being shot,” Way shared in a statement. “By the time I finished it, 2020 was in full swing, the world had taken a profound turn and the song was finished in a surreal new reality.”

While you count the days for the release of The Umbrella Academy Season 2, you can watch the trailer for it now.
