Olivia Culpo is one of the new featured models on the Sports Illustrated (SI) Swimsuit Edition 2020 cover, receiving a solo appearance as well as a group shot alongside Jasmine Sanders and Kate Bock.

SI will be producing four issues, one with all three women and then one of each model individually. Culpo was featured in the 2018 and 2019 edition of the swimsuit issue, however, this will be her first cover appearance.

This is a “groundbreaking issue” for SI as this is the first time they have used “three powerful women” to create “four incredible covers,” as stated in their Instagram post. Take a look at the stunning trio cover below, photographed in Bali, Indonesia.

It has been a long, long wait, but the time has finally come. @katebock, @goldenbarbie and @oliviaculpo are your SI Swimsuit 2020 cover models. The trio were photographed by @yutsai88 in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Bali, Indonesia, back in November. Did we mention the best part? Not only are we giving you one cover showcasing these extraordinary and empowering women together, but we also have three additional covers, one of each model individually. This marks a first for the brand: three powerful women. Four incredible covers. One groundbreaking issue. “These three women who make up the 2020 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue are inherently unique but a solidarity exists among them in terms of their ambitions, goals and what they stand for,” says SI Swimsuit editor-in-chief @mj_day. #SISwim2020 is on newsstands and online Tuesday, July 21st! The Rhode Island native has dreamed of this moment in her career for many years. About four years ago she was sitting in her house cutting out pictures and creating a vision board of her face on other SI swimsuit models. She wrote in her Instagram post to, “never stop visualizing and striving for what you want. Don’t lose hope and remain focused and persistent…I just hope this can show anyone out there that their goals, big or small, really can come true and that you deserve it.”

See below for her gorgeous solo cover.

WOW! I really am speechless and this still doesn’t feel real. I am so grateful for every experience I have been able to have with my @si_swimsuit family. Thank you so much @mj_day – your warmth and genuinity is unparalleled and I have learned and grown so much. It’s been an honor to be surrounded by so many amazing and strong women. The second swipe here is a vision board I made about 4 years ago before I had ever even shot for sports illustrated. I cut out pictures from a huge SI coffee table book I bought and glued my face on it 😂 I was debating sharing this but figured if this huge milestone can mean something to someone else out there then it’s an even greater blessing for me. To anyone who sees this, never stop visualizing and striving for what you want. Don’t lose hope and remain focused and persistent. 4 years ago when I was pasting these images onto a poster board it was me sitting on the floor with my glue stick and scissors shooting for the stars and it felt completely unattainable. I just hope this can show anyone out there that their goals, big or small, really can come true and that you deserve it. Thank you to everyone who has helped me achieve this dream and to all the other dreamers, never give up ❤️🌟 I love you guys!!!
