New Artist Gracie Abrams Releases Her Debut EP, ‘Minor’

Facebook

On July 14, up-and-coming artist Gracie Abrams released her first EP, minor, featuring three brand new songs and four previously-released fan favorites.

Gracie Abrams, daughter of Star Wars Director J.J. Abrams, first started showcasing her musical talents on social media. Over the last few years of sharing snippets of songs recorded in her bedroom, Abrams has amassed thousands of followers on Instagram, and some fans have even begun to call her the next Lorde.

Abram’s music style tells the vulnerable, honest, and universal stories of heartbreak. Her music is part of the growing music genre “bedroom pop,” which commonly features DIY artists who write, record, and produce songs independently, often in their own homes.
