Princess Beatrice recently married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzie in a private and secret royal wedding.

The newlyweds hitched in The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor. Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, and other close family members were among the attendees at the wedding.  Throughout the entire wedding reception, everyone followed the proper guidelines in order to stop the spread of COVID-19. The wedding was originally supposed to take place on May 29 at the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace, but it was postponed due to the pandemic.

For the wedding, Princess Beatrice wore a hand-me-down dress that was made by Queen Elizabeth II’s designer, Norman Hartnell. To top it off, the princess also borrowed the same tiara that the queen wore for her wedding to Prince Phillip back in 1947. Her whole fashion ensemble seems largely traditional, except for one thing: the wedding ring. Usually, traditional wedding rings contain Welsh gold, but Edoardo Mapelli Mozzie gifted his bride a ring that contains a platinum and diamond design.

Congratulations to HRH Princess Beatrice & Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi! The couple were married in a small private ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge. Princess Beatrice & Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi celebrated their wedding with their closest family, including Her Majesty The Queen & The Duke Of Edinburgh. Princess Beatrice wore a vintage dress by Norman Hartnell & The Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara, both belonging to Her Majesty The Queen. The tiara was worn by Her Majesty on her wedding day in 1947. I was so incredibly honoured to photograph their wedding day, a certain milestone of my career. A huge thanks to Gillian Lawtie. #royalwedding #britishvogue #hrhprincessbeatriceofyork #edoardomapellimozzi

This might not be the grandest royal wedding, but the simplicity and vintage style is what made the wedding so special. Benjamin Wheeler was the wedding photographer, and the photos he took are simply stunning. A big congratulations to the royal newlyweds, we wish you nothing but happiness.
