Netflix Adds ‘Moesha’ to Their Platform and Will Be Adding Six More Classic Black Sitcoms
Netflix announced Moesha, The Game, Sister, Sister, Girlfriend, The Parkers, Half & Half, and One on One will all be premiering on their streaming network by the end of the year.

Moesha premiered on UPN January 23, 1996. The show ran for a total of six seasons and ended May 14, 2o01 with Brandy as the main character. The show ended up having a spinoff called The Parkers which ran from August 30, 1999, to May 10, 2004, with a total of five seasons. Moesha has been added to Netflix as of August 1, and The Parker will be added on October 1st.
Sister, Sister was featured the talented twins, Tia and Tamera Mowry. Sister, Sister will premiere on Netflix on September 1st, and seasons 1-3 of The Game, which featured Tia Mowry, will premiere August 15.
Girlfriends is another show Netflix is adding to Netflix on September 11th. The beloved Tracee Ellis-Ross is a star on the show. You can take a look at the theme song below.
Half & Half as well and One on One will be released on Netflix on October 15th. We’re excited to watch these throwback tv shows that never failed to keep us laughing and gripping our stomachs.
