A little philanthropy can go a long way and some of your favorite celebrities are doing their part to raise funds for City of Hope.

Primarily based out of Duarte, California, City of Hope National Medical Center has served as a medicinal beacon since 1913. This nonprofit research center (which also serves as a hospital and graduate school) has topped the national list of cancer hospitals for over a decade. A founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, City of Hope uses cutting-edge science, research, and treatment methods in the battle against cancer. Not limiting their studies to cancer alone, City of Hope also notably assisted in the development and distribution of synthetic insulin.

Ending cancer is a noble goal, but it is also an expensive one. For this reason, City of Hope has partnered with Charitybuzz to host high-end weekly auctions. City of Hope’s Music, Film and Entertainment Industry Group will be taking the reigns on these virtual auctions, which will be held every Monday through September 21. The sales will feature luxury items and star-studded experiences. The funds raised by winning bidders will help City of Hope research and provide treatment for cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, and other life-threatening illnesses.

The items and adventures up for auction come courtesy of famed benefactors, including Hunter Hayes, Charli and Dixie D’Amelio, Smokey Robinson, Jesse McCartney, Bastille, and many more. Items will be added by theme every week; some of the upcoming themes include indie music icons, celebrated creators, and hitmakers.
