Selena Gomez Joins the Cast of Hulu’s ‘Only Murderers in the Building’
Selena Gomez has just been announced as part of the cast for the all new comedy series Only Murders in the Building, coming to Hulu in January.
The singer, actress, and producer will be working alongside Steve Martin (Cheaper By The Dozen) and Martin Short (Santa Clause 3). The comedy was written and created by Martin along with John Hoffman, producer and writer to the Netflix series Grace and Frankie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series “revolves around three strangers who share an obsession with true crime who suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one.” Gomez will be playing the third stranger.

Gomez is known for her role in Wizards of Waverly Place, playing Alex Russo, who we all loved growing up. Her latest acting role was in Doolittle, next to Robert Downey Jr., as Betsy. Gomez’s latest gig in the industry was not of acting, but instead as a producer for the highly-talked-about Netflix series 13 Reasons Why. Fans have already taken to Twitter to show their excitement for the multi-faceted actress’ new project.

Besides acting in the new Hulu series, Gomez will also reprise her role as a producer next to Martin, Hoffman, Short, and This Is Us creators, Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal.
