Find your value in life through actress and activist Jameela Jamil’s podcast, “I Weigh.”

Two years ago, Jamil took to social media to voice her opinions about current social issues as well as being an activist for things such as women’s rights, media, and body image. She started her podcast called “I Weigh” in March of 2018 to address body neutrality, how media treats women regarding weight and their bodies, the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as many other circulating social issues.

Jamil explains that the main mission of “I Weigh” is to allow for empowerment and amplify diversity. The podcast aims to reach not only individuals in the US or U.K. but around the globe by addressing stereotypes from different groups.

Jamil has already had a multitude of artists, such as singer and actor Demi Lovato, actor Reese Witherspoon, singer Sam Smith, and former surgeon, Vivek Murthy. Check out the “I Weigh” website where you can see all the guests Jamil has collaborated with as well as a description of what each guest talked about during their episode.

The organization’s website also focuses on different movements impacting activism at the moment, like “The Stereotype Project”, U.K. Trans and non-binary allies, and the movement that focuses on improving the mental health for Black women and girls. There are sections where sexual harassment survivors can tell their stories, address talk about disability, along with mental health activism.
