Karol G and Myke Towers Join Ozuna for ‘Caramelo (Remix)’
Karol G and Myke Towers join Ozuna for “Caramelo (Remix),” and you need to hear it.
Ozuna has been taking the music industry by storm. The Puerto Rican musician is only 28 years old and has already been awarded recognition from the Billboard Latin Music Awards, 2019 BMI Awards, and Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People List. In June 2020, Ozuna released a new single “Caramelo,” which climbed to the number one spot of the Latin Airplay Chart. Maybe we thought Ozuna’s original version of “Caramelo” couldn’t get any better, but this remix proved us wrong.

The video resembles Ozuna’s original, with its sweet candy fantasy motifs. The lyrics speak of falling back into the sweetness of a relationship, even if it might not be the best decision. However, Karol G and Myke Towers add that little extra flair with their vocals and charming charisma.
Myke Towers came along with the rapping skills he has only been perfecting since his career started backing 2016. His addition to the song was nothing more than excellent.

Karol G teased the collaboration on Instagram a couple of days before the premiere. She adds the female perspective we didn’t know we needed for this song. Giving it that female empowerment she’s been exemplifying to the music industry from the start.
This unexpected trio is the cherry on top for the success Latinx music is having right now. In just a matter of hours, the video reached over one million views.
Sweet, sexy, and unapologetic, this song is sure to get us moving during this time of a much-needed break.
