Cara Delevingne Is Hosting Docu-Series Exploring Sexual Identity Called ‘Planet Sex’
Cara Delevingne is a well-renowned model, actress, and now documentary host.
Delevingne has been very open about her experiences with sexuality and about her own identification. She encourages sex education and an open mind when approaching these topics. So, it stands to say a documentary centered on the eurocentric ideology of sex sounds like a perfect idea for her to be involved in.
According to BBC, Delevingne said, “As someone who struggled for years to understand my sexual identity, I am so excited to be partnering with Hulu, Naked, BBC Three and Fremantle to be making a series that could change the views of so many people through honest and personal conversations.” This series will be highlighting different perspectives of sex globally and Delevingne will even be visiting sex research labs to discuss this matter.
In a podcast called “Wheres the Tea?” Delevingne opened up to the Drag Race stars about her experience with sexuality and even touched on when she lost her virginity. Delevingne has always made it known that sexuality is not something to be ashamed of and that it should be a topic that can be openly conversed about. She has been interviewed numerous times where Develingne expresses her associated sexuality and how she reacts differently with men and women.
Planet Sex is a six-part docu-series that will be airing on BBC/Hulu. The series is still undergoing production without a set release date yet. But, I’m sure we can all agree that with Develingne as a host this docu-series will provide empowering and important information on both sexuality and identity.
