Try Out the New Ice Cream Flavor ‘Cookies & Cream Remix’ Created by Selena Gomez at Serendipity
Selena Gomez is a new investor for the ice cream brand Serendipity.
Recently on August 24, Gomez shared her partnership with Serendipity on Instagram.
Serendipity is a dessert restaurant located in New York City specializing in various ice cream flavors. The restaurant is also located in different locations such as Tokyo, Florida, and Boca Raton. It’s been a hangout location for many famous celebrities such as Wendy Williams, Chef Gordan Ramsey, Sarah Palin, and of course Gomez herself.
The pop singer has been a long fan of the famous dessert restaurant as she shares on her Instagram. She writes, “I grew up going to the iconic @serendipity3nyc restaurant so I couldn’t be more excited to join the ownership team.”
In partnership with Serendipity, the Rare singer created a new flavor called “Cookies & Cream Remix.” It includes pink vanilla with cookies and cream, along with thick fudge and broken cookie pieces with a retail price of $5.99 for a pint. She has created this flavor after being inspired by her collaboration with BlackPink for their song “Ice Cream,” which is being released on August 28.
Gomez mentions further in her caption, “In honor of the release of ICE CREAM with @blackpinkofficial, I created Cookies and Cream Remix… made with pink vanilla ice cream as a nod to the girls!”
Serendipity had also expressed their excitement of partnering with Gomez by posting pictures of the new ice cream on Twitter. “Selena Gomez is the perfect partner and flavor engineer for Serendipity Brands,” said Sal Pesce, President, and COO of Serendipity Brands. “As a forever fan of our brand, Selena brings a fresh perspective and a whole new set of fans to help us take over the decadent ice cream category with our innovative, indulgent mixes.”
In addition, they have not forgotten to mention the influence of BlackPink as they stated, “We’re introducing a new flavor, Cookies & Cream Remix, to the ice cream aisle, inspired by global music phenomenon BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez’s latest single ‘Ice Cream,’ available August 28th at all participating digital retailers via YG Entertainment/Interscope Records. ‘Ice Cream’ is from BLACKPINK’s highly anticipated debut album set for release on October 2nd.”
