Usher Announces New Las Vegas Residency Beginning Summer 2021

Usher announces he will be getting his own residency in Las Vegas.

The 41-year-old R&B singer will be headlining his own show at The Colosseum in Caesar’s Palace. His residency is set to open on July 16, 2021. The show is promoted by Live Nation and Caesar Entertainment. His show will include 20 years of music.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Las Vegas has been forced to shut down its infamous entertainment spots for tourists. However, Caesar’s Palace is promising fans Usher’s residency this time next year.

“My residency at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace will be full of surprises and an Usher experience like they’ve never seen or heard before,” Usher stated in his release. “I have missed performing for my fans live and I am so excited to see them in Las Vegas.”

Live Nation tweeted today about his new residency and attached a video from Usher himself. Usher described his residency as “a celebration of life, love, and of course, all your favorite songs that you don’t want to miss!”

Tickets for his show will go on sale on September 10 at 10:00 AM PT. There will also be presale tickets on September 7 at 10 AM PT through September 9 at 10 PM PT.

The scheduled dates for 2021 are July 16, July 17, July 21, July 23, July 24, July 28, July 30, July 31, December 28, December 29, and December 31. There is only one scheduled date in 2022 on January 1.
