Girl group Little Mix performed a beautiful cover of Harry Styles’ hit “Falling” on the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.

On September 15, Little Mix performed their new hit single, “Holiday” and a cover of Harry Styles’ song, “Falling” on the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to advertise the release of “Holiday”.

Little Mix is a British girl group formed in 2011 from a popular British singing competition show, The X-Factor.  Members include Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirwall. and Leigh-Anne Pinnock. The band is known for their hits such as “Black Magic”, “Secret Love Song” and “Shoutout to my Ex”.

Earlier today on the BBC, the group sang their new single, “Holiday”, and performed a beautiful cover of a slowed-down version of Harry Styles’ “Falling”, accompanied by guitar and piano. They also performed an upbeat cover of “Head & Heart” from  Joel Corry and MNEK’s dance track.

Though the Harry Styles cover is by all accounts, flawless, backstage was a different story. Lead vocalist Jesy Nelson revealed on Instagram that she had suffered a panic attack, describing it as her “nerves getting the better of me and I had a panic attack right before we were about to sing this [“Falling”] for Live Lounge today”. Though this was just minutes before their performance, bandmate Perrie Edwards “jumped in for my part last minute and smashed it” and the band continued to absolutely kill their performance.

Little Mix and Harry Styles fans alike are gushing over this cover.

We admire Little Mix and their ability to make last-minute changes that still leave them with a perfect set. Make sure to check out their new single “Holiday” for more Little Mix.
