Beyoncé Sends Flowers To a Young Cancer Patient and Makes Her Day
Singer-songwriter Beyoncé recently sent flowers and a heartwarming card to young brain cancer survivor Lyric Chanel, in honor of her brave fight against illness.
According to her family’s Instagram page, little Chanel is currently fighting “brain cancer/Anaplastic Ependymoma.” The singer, dancer, and actress sent her young fan a bouquet of white flowers and a sweet card that read, “Honey, Honey, I can see the stars all the way from here, I can feel the sun whenever you’re near. I was so moved to see how these lyrics inspired you, not nearly as much as you inspired me. I can’t wait to meet you one day and I’m so happy you’re home safely. You are a survivor. God bless, B.”
Chanel’s family posted a video of her receiving the flowers, and it’ll be the sweetest thing you see today.
The flowers and card came just days after Chanel’s family posted an adorable throwback video of her in preschool singing along to Beyoncé’s hit song, “Love On Top.” Upon seeing this little girl jam to her song, even Beyoncé couldn’t help but gush with pride and admiration.
Queen Bey has been quite vocal on social media in the past seven months, as she has aided her community by making charitable donations to organizations for COVID-19 relief.
