One of the new features is The Holidate, starring American Horror Story actress Emma Roberts and Australian actor, Luke Bracey. According to an article by Refinery29, the film’s premise revolves around “two strangers, Sloane (Roberts) and Jackson (Bracey), who hate being pestered about their single status over the holidays. After they meet on Christmas, they make a pact to be each other’s “holidate” for every celebration throughout the next year. But, as these things often go, feelings start to get in the way of their platonic arrangement.” This heartfelt flick will be available on Netflix starting October 28.

Another movie that will be available to stream on Netflix is country singer Dolly Parton’s, Dolly Parton’s Christmas On The Square. The Refinery29 article describes the premise of the movie to revolve around Parton playing “a literal angel who helps the Scrooge-y Baranski [Christine Baranski] find happiness and redemption by showing the embittered woman her past. The film features 14 original songs with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton.” The movie comes to Netflix on November 22. Below is one of the songs featured in the movie from her upcoming album, A Holly Dolly Christmas.
