It seems like yesterday Ziegler was on top of the Lifetime’s Dance Moms pyramid. Now she is old enough to vote. Ziegler understands that voting is an important part of our democracy and our obligation as citizens, she recently begun promoting the importance of voting on her social media.

With a heated debate between Joe Biden and President Donald Trump yesterday, it seems like no better time than the present to register to vote and be an active voice in our government. As American citizens, we have a responsibility to ourselves and our country to vote and practice our rights and Ziegler wants to make sure everyone participates.

Ziegler has encouraged others to vote via her social media and even participated in a Facebook challenge. Partnered with When We All Vote, Ziegler nominates five people to register to vote, then they nominate five more people. These chain reactions from young influencers can cause an increase in voter turnouts.

Many people think that their voice doesn’t matter, however, this election can determine what path our country goes down, and every single vote matters.

Since many young people look up to Ziegler, it’s nice for her to remind us about how important voting is on a local and national level. She explains how easy it is to vote with only a few clicks and a couple of minutes.

Ziegler has proven to be a prime example of being young and still being heard. We appreciate all the celebrities who have spoken out on the importance of voting and hope to see more begin to utilize their platforms like this. Be sure to check your state’s registration deadlines and get registered to vote.
