Rihanna’s Most Diverse Fashion Show For Savage X Fenty Has A Powerful Message Behind It
Singer, actress, and businesswoman, Rihanna just debuted her fashion line for her Savage X Fenty lingerie line and it has a powerful message behind it that you’ll want to hear.
After her iconic show last year, many thought that Rihanna’s Fenty line couldn’t get better. However, in the midst of a global pandemic, she managed to step up her game and make her most recent fashion show more diverse and inclusive than ever. Rihanna introduced a new menswear lingerie line, which she collaborated on with Christian Combs.

In an interview prior to the fashion show, Rihanna said that the show included male, female, and non-binary models. Her model lineup also included a number of high-profile celebrities including Willow Smith, Paris Hilton, Lizzo, Demi Moore, Bella Hadid, Cara Delevigne, Normani, Shea Couleé, Jaida Essence Hall, and Gigi Goode.
During the show, Rihanna opened up about how she tries to promote inclusivity in her empire (which includes skincare, makeup, and fashion). According to Buzzfeed, she said, “When I imagine something, I imagine everyone that I know and love being a part of it. I want to make stuff that I can see on the people that I know and they come in all different shapes, sizes, races, religions. Whether that comes from my household and my childhood to the circle of family that I’ve created around me. I really care that they be a part of what I do.”

Rihanna continued by discussing what inclusivity means to her, “Inclusivity for me has always been something second nature. It’s not anything I really think about. I didn’t think it would be such a talking point after the fact. The only thing I could think about was including everyone.”
