James Corden Showcases His New Trump Parody, Set to the Tune of Paul McCartney’s ‘Maybe I’m Amazed,’ on the ‘Late Late Show’
James Corden’s newest parody about President Donald Trump is not only hilarious but brings awareness to the current presidential election.
The song, set to the music of Paul McCartney’s infamous song “Maybe I’m Amazed,” is set to open the Late Late Show on Wednesday, October 7, though the video of Corden singing the parody has already been released.
In the video, Corden is seen sitting at a piano, with the tune of “Maybe I’m Amazed,” but he is not singing the same lyrics written by McCartney. Corden makes multiple jokes about the current President, Donald Trump’s response to COVID as well as his recent actions of leaving the hospital, after only three days of testing positive for COVID-19.

To add the cherry on top of the cake, Corden also includes multiple videos of Trump himself, asking whether or not bleach can be injected into individuals to stop the spread of the virus, his lack of responsibility and truth when warning the American people how serious COVID-19 really is, as well as his refusal and mockery of masks.
Corden cleverly titles the parody, “Maybe I’m Immune” to mimic the songs original title. The video is currently posted on The Late Late Show’s YouTube page, with over 180k views in just 13 hours of the video’s release.
