Adrienne Warren and More Will Participate in ‘Sing Out for Freedom’ Honoring the Legacy of Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Broadway actors Adrienne Warren (known for her work in Tina), André De Shields (known for his work in Hadestown), and others will take part in the Sing Out For Freedom benefit for The American Civil Liberties Union and the New York Civil Liberties Union on November 2 at 6:30 PM ET and here’s how you can watch.

The event will also include Broadway actress Katrina Lenk (known for her work in The Band’s Visit and Company) and will be hosted by comedian and performer Lea DeLaria (known for her work in Orange Is the New Black on Netflix). The event will honor the legacies of Associate Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, activist John Lewis, suffragists, and others who pushed for American voting rights for all citizens.

Other actors involved in the annual benefit include Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Laura Benanti (She Loves Me), Heidi Schreck (What the Constitution Means to Me), Celia-Keenan Bolger (To Kill a Mockingbird), Philippa Soo (Hamilton), George Salazar (Be More Chill), Jelani Alladin (Hercules), Keala Settle (The Greatest Showman), and dozens more. The annual benefit was co-founded by Donna Lieberman, Liana Stampur, and Erich Bergen. Sing Out for Freedom not only celebrates the lives of prominent individuals who fought for American voting rights, but also encourages viewers to practice their civic duty and vote in the upcoming presidential election. Warren and other Broadway actors have been imploring their fans on social media to go to the polls.
