Lauren Simmons Makes History as the Youngest Full-Time Equity Trader and Hosts Entrepreneur’s New Series ‘Going Public’

Lauren Simmons is the youngest full-time female trader at the New York Stock Exchange.
Simmons, a 22-year-old stock trader, previously worked at Rosenblatt Securities. NYSE has been around for 228 years and within that time she has been the second African American woman. Simmons is single-handedly making history by making the world’s largest stock exchange more inclusive.

Simmons is an inspiration to many young girls and people of color and she wants to help them succeed in this industry.
Simons plans to host an interactive streaming series, that is soon approaching, called “Going Public.” This upcoming series focuses on a diverse group of entrepreneurs as they bargain and make sales by engaging with companies and investors. Viewers of the series can also participate in investing through Regulation A+ IPOs via an online platform associated with the show.
“The moment I heard about this project, I knew I had to be a part of it,” said Simmons. “I can’t wait to share the untold stories of exciting and ambitious founders from across the country who, like me, are paving the way doing something completely out of the box.”

“Going Public” will be produced by INE Entertainment, founded by Eric Day and Mark Koops, who were involved in “MasterChef,” “The Biggest Loser” and “Be Our Chef.”
