‘Umbrella Academy’ Star, Elliot Page, Has Come Out as Transgender
Elliot Page from the hit Netflix series Umbrella Academy has just recently come out as transgender and non-binary.
Elliot Page, known for his role as Vanya in Umbrella Academy as well as his roles in hit movies like Juno and X-Men: Days of Future Past has just posted a heartwarming letter to social media on Tuesday, December 1, announcing that he is now transgender and also non-binary.

In the post, Page explained many things such as, he will now be using the pronouns of both he/him and they/them and that he is ever so grateful for all the people in his life who have supported him and helped him through this process.
Page also included a few special words for fellow transgender individuals saying, “To all the trans people who deal with harassment, self-loathing, abuse and the threat of violence: I see you, I love you and I will do everything I can to change this world for the better.”
Fans of Umbrella Academy have also taken to social media to show their support for Page, sending love and words of encouragement.

Netflix has also confirmed that they will be changing the credits on his past movies and shows to make sure they all now say, Elliot Page. And for all of you wondering, yes, Page will still be playing his role as Vanya in the upcoming season of Umbrella Academy.
