Mariah Carey Recommends Some of Her Favorite Books of 2020
Mariah Carey created a list of books that she recommends to her fans, including her very own memoir, “The Meaning of Mariah Carey.”
Carey shared a photo of her leaning on a stack of books with her co-written book on the top, of course. Carey’s memoir discusses her life as an artist and the closely tied relationship between music and momentous life events. She also plans to turn her memoir into a biopic.

To the delight of many, this list isn’t the first time she has recommended books she enjoyed. Back in October, she released a list for the Amazon Book Review, which uncoincidentally also mentions her memoir.

Many of the authors were ecstatic about cutting her list. With many of the books being written by Black authors and about the experience of race, Carey recognizes and sheds light on well-deserving authors and their beautifully written books.
