Gwen Stefani releases a new hit single “Let Me Reintroduce Myself” on Monday.

Gwen Stefani dropped a new Latin and reggae-style single called “Let Me Reintroduce Myself.” The song features references from her past songs and combines them with the theme of a new and updated self.

The 51-year-old singer talked to Zane Lowe on Apple Music about how she “never really was playing to do new music.” This is her first song since her engagement with Blake Shelton. Coincidently, Stefani’s new hit single dropped the same week that her duet with her fiancé for “Happy Anywhere” reached number one on the Billboard country music chart.

“I never expected to be writing, but it was in there. And it’s been really, really incredible,” she said. “I mean, there’s just nothing else that I do in my life, and I have done so many things, that makes me feel ignited the way a new song makes me feel.”

Stefani tweeted a vague message hinting towards her new single last Thursday, in which Shelton responded in a humorous way.

Following this tweet, Stefani posted Friday on Instagram about her new single, as well as her new look and branding of herself.

The left side of the post shows Stefani in her iconic outfit from her music video for “Just a Girl” that was recorded 25 years ago. On the left side is Stefani’s new look that she is trying to convey to her fans. Her new song’s title, “Let Me Reintroduce Myself,” is perfect for her new look.
