Disney first announced that Halle Bailey of the R&B sister duo Chloe X Halle would play everyone’s favorite red-head little mermaid a few months ago. Just yesterday, the magical company released the full cast list for the live-action movie featuring music written by Alan Menken and playwright and composer Lin-Manuel Miranda. The star-studded cast list includes Bailey, Daveed Diggs, Javier Bardem, Jacob Tremblay, Melissa McCarthy, Jonah Hauer-King, Emily Coates, and Awkwafina.
This incredible cast comes from a variety of different backgrounds and we are sure that they will come together to make our fairytale dreams come true.
