Marvel Studios Releases First Trailer for ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’
Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for the highly-anticipated Disney+ series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Marvel president, Kevin Feige announced the exciting news during Disney’s Investor Day, revealing that the series is currently slated to hit Disney+ in March.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier begins after the events of Avengers: Endgame, showcasing Anthony Mackie’s Falcon and Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier as a crimefighting duo. The trailer also reveals a look at the villainous Helmut Zemo (Daniel Brühl), who is expected to don his iconic purple mask from the comics.
Stan, Mackie, and Bruhl are reprising their roles alongside Emily VanCamp, who plays Sharon Carter. It was recently revealed that Wyatt Russell was joining the cast as the fan-favorite comic superhero U.S. Agent.
The upcoming series was initially set to release in August but was delayed due to the ongoing pandemic. Now, the series is scheduled to launch on Disney Plus’ platform on March 19, 2021.
The series will follow Falcon’s journey after receiving Captain America’s shield from the newly-retired Steve Rogers.
