Big Hit Entertainment

K-pop supergroup BTS has announced plans to drop the “essential” edition of their latest album BE just three months after its initial release.

The chart-topping boyband announced the release via Weverse, a fan community platform that connects artists with fans. They also shared the news on their official Twitter account, including a link to pre-order the physical album.

According to a press release from Big Hit Entertainment, the release of BE (Essential Edition) hopes to show “the deepest appreciation to all fans who have stood by BTS in the making of history.”

This new version of the album is expected to arrive February 19 and will feature all of the songs from the deluxe edition of the album, as well as include a few additional surprises. The bundle available for pre-order will include the CD, as well as a photo book, photo cards of each of the seven members, and a poster displaying a group photo of the band.

The album will be available for purchase online and in stores beginning at 2 pm KST on February 19. Though similar to the deluxe version of the album, BTS plans to repay their fans by unveiling surprise gifts for them each day leading up to the album’s release. Fans expect the gifts to be content such as videos and new pictures and are not hesitating to show their excitement on social media.

BTS BE (Essential Edition) is available for pre-order now for $27.99.
