ABC Announces Premiere Dates for ‘Pooch Perfect,’ ‘Rebel,’ ‘Home Economics’
ABC has announced when three of its new series will premiere in the U.S.
Pooch Perfect, a reality competition series, will begin airing on March 30 at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). The sibling-centered comedy, Home Economics will air the following week on April 7 at 8:30 EST. The Erin Brokovich-esque legal drama, Rebel, will premiere the next day, April 8, at 10:01 p.m. EST.
Rebel Wilson hosts Pooch Perfect, an eight-episode dog grooming competition show. The show’s premise has 10 contestants competing in dog grooming challenges for bragging rights and a cash prize. Celebrity dog groomer Jorge Bendersky and veterinarian Dr. Callie Harris will judge the completion alongside reality star and entrepreneur Lisa Vanderpump. Vanderpump’s love of dogs was documented on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and in her dog rescue business, Vanderpump Dogs. The show is based on the UK show of the same name.

This show sounds like my brother, my sister, and me. I’m looking forward to it.
Rebel will see Katey Sagal as a fictional depiction of Erin Brockovich, a fearless blue-collar legal advocate who fights for what (and who) she believes in. The show will join the network’s Thursday night line-up alongside Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19. Krista Vernoff will serve as the show’s executive producer.
Sharing the first look preview of “Rebel” to their Youtube, ABC has gained much traction and excitement with fans for the new release.
