Set Pictures for Marvel’s ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Have Fans Hyped

After months of production on hold, fans are ecstatic about the new pictures that were released of Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, and Sean Gunn back as our favorite characters.
In these new photos, we can see Thor played by Hemsworth back at work next to Starlord (Pratt) in his signature maroon leather jacket. We also have Nebula (Gillan) and Gunn’s Kraglin from the Guardians of the Galaxy films.
Having so many fan favorite characters involved is beyond exciting for fans and will no doubt result in a great addition to the Marvel films.

While we don’t have much news about the plot of this specific film, we do know that Taika Waititi is back as a writer and director after his huge success with Thor: Ragnarok. It should follow up on the storylines that ended in Avengers: Endgame where the remaining Guardians left with Thor off to start a new adventure. On top of this, the cast list does include Natalie Portman to reprise her role as Jane Foster, which could potentially include her comic book storyline of taking Thor’s hammer as her own.

Unfortunately, while Kat Dennings is reprising her role as Darcy in WandaVision, it does not seem that she will be joining Thor: Love and Thunder to many fans’ dismay. They are also hoping to see Tom Hiddleston continue the role of Loki in this film, although it is unclear if he will. He does have his own series coming to Disney+ this year so we will have to see if that plays into Thor: Love and Thunder.

We still have a long time to wait before we get any more concrete details on the actual storyline or a new release date, but as of now, it’s still on target to be in theaters by February 2022, and we can’t wait.
