Dominique Thorne to Star in Marvel’s Newly Announced ‘Ironheart’
23-year-old actress Dominique Thorne will star in Marvel’s new series Ironheart coming to Disney+.
Thorne has previously portrayed Sheila Hunt in If Beale Street Could Talk, and Judy Harmon in the upcoming film Judas and the Black Messiah, which will be released on February 12 to theatres and HBO Max.
Its kind sad to see the lack of people talking about Dominique Thorne as Ironheart in the MCU. She is going to face a lot of pressure, from fake fans. The newest iron added to the MCU , a black female who is on par with Tony. we got you girl!

Ironheart follows Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne), a Black teenage girl from Chicago, and her invention of the new Iron suit. Intelligent but a bit socially awkward, Williams attends high school at a young age, fascinated by mechanics. She continues onward to MIT as someone who loves to fix and invent gadgets. In her college dorm, Williams invents a suit that rivals the Ironman suit.
Williams first appeared in 2016 in the comic Invincible Iron Man. The following year, Williams got her own comic Ironheart. Last year, a poet, novelist, and playwright, Eve Ewing, who is an assistant professor at the University of Chicago, wrote the Ironheart: Meant to Fly comics, which fans loved.
