Lionsgate Picks up Sci-Fi Thriller ‘Voyagers’ Starring Colin Farrell and Lily-Rose Depp

Lionsgate has picked up the Neil Burger film Voyagers, which includes an impressive cast.

Neil Burger, most commonly known for directing the 2011 film, Limitless or the 2014 film, Divergent will be premiering the euphoric sci-fi thriller Voyagers in April 2021. The film is centered around a crew of astronauts on a mission to colonize a planet. The astronauts spiral into a world of paranoia and madness, constantly wondering what is real or not.

The film had started filming in June 2019 in Romania but had unfortunately been halted due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The nature of this film had been uncertain, but thankfully, filming has resumed and picked up thanks to Lionsgate.

Burger has a star-studded cast in this film. Lily-Rose Depp, Colin Farrell, and Fionn Whitehead were among the first to join the film. The tweet above shows Colin and Lily-Rose embracing during a short break. The film also includes Madison Hu, Tye Sheridan, Quintessa Swindell, and Isaac Hempstead Wright.

While much of the film has been kept under wraps, fans can look forward to a wild ride with this stellar cast. Fans have already taken to the cast, especially Depp and Farrell. The cast will have an interesting dynamic, proving to be a can’t-miss film.

Fans should be on the lookout for more content as the premiere of Voyagers gets closer in April 2021.
