SNL is back with a new show featuring Golden Globe and Academy Award-nominated actors Daniel Kaluuya and Carey Mulligan making their debut as hosts. Daniel Kaluuya, Golden Globe winner for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Judas and the Black Messiah, will be hosting SNL on April 3. Kaluuya has appeared on SNL in the past, making a brief cameo in 2018 to introduce Childish Gambino. The musical guest for his show will be St. Vincent who will be making her second appearance. Carey Mulligan, Golden Globe and Academy Award nominee for her role in Promising Young Woman, will be hosting SNL a week later on April 10. Her musical guest will be Kid Cudi. This will also be Kid Cudi’s first appearance on the hit show.
Kaluuya and Mulligan’s shows will come after SNL‘s return back to air on March 27. Maya Rudolph will be returning as a host; she is also a former cast member of the show. Rudolph has been involved in a series of skits, but more recently, she played Vice President Kamala Harris alongside Jim Carrey, who played President Joe Biden. Rudolph will be joined by musical act Jack Harlow, who is also making his debut.
